Independence Tube Guard-Rail tubing is made from an exclusive chemical composition to provide a tube with excellent compression qualities, torsion resistance,uniform tolerances plus pleasing appearance and high strength-to-weight ratio. The galvanized coated type tubing adheres to the additional stringent requirements as specified by the various domestic departments of transportation.
Guard-Rail is used for highway median barriers, bridge rail and guard rails, and is manufactured to the dimensional tolerances of ASTM A500.

with ASTM A242 Type1 or A588.
Tested in accordance with the latest version of ASTM A370.

Identification Marking
To simplify installation, repair, or service, all Independence Tube Guard-Rail is steel
stamped on the outside of the tube. The tube is stamped with our heat identification
code and logo within every 1.2 meters. The stamp is deep enough for identification
after galvanizing.
Available Size Range
Independence Tube is currently manufacturing Guard-Rail sizes from 3-1/2" square through 10" square and the
standard rectangular sections. Wall thicknesses from 3/16" through 5/16". Inquire with your Independence Tube
