From buildings to bridges, HSLA (High Strength Low Alloy) steel can be used in a wide variety of applications where increased strength and reduced weight are important.
HSLA is a type of alloy steel that provides better mechanical properties than traditional carbon steels. HSLA steels are not manufactured to meet a specific chemical composition, but rather to specific mechanical properties.
HSLA steel provides an excellent alternative when a given project requires high-strength, toughness, ductility, elongation or weldability. HSS HSLA tubing can be available in 50,000, 60,000 or 70,000 minimum yields.
HSLA tubing provides a greater strength to weight ratio than standard ASTM A500 grades B and C tubing.
Manufactured to the dimensional tolerances of ASTM A500. HSLA tubing is available through special order.
Minimum order required.
