High-Strength Low-Alloy

Independence Tube can manufacture high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) structural steel tubing in 50,000, 60,000 and 70,000 psi minimum yield strengths. HSLA tubing provides a greater strength-to-weight ratio than ASTM A500 Grades B or C. Manufactured to the dimensional tolerances of A500, HSLA with its improved mechanical properties can offer an increase in load bearing capabilities while reducing wall thicknesses.
